The Barefoot Medium ...
®
As an Empath and natural Medium, I was born with my spiritual gifts and have had many encounters and experiences with those in Spirit from a very young age. When I was younger I would see, hear, feel and just know that there were 'people' around and distinctly remember many nights where I would lay in bed and see outlines of people and shadows out of the corner of my eyes, hear footsteps down the hallway, feel like there were people standing above me or at the foot of my bed and just know information about how they had passed over. Like others in my family, I have always been able to sense Spirit and loved one's who had passed over as they stepped into my energy and wanted to connect and communicate with me.
When I was about 12 years old, I remember buying my first deck of tarot cards, playing around with them, learning about how they worked and understanding how Spirit would guide me to various images, symbols, colours or items to intuitively read the meaning and information from within the cards for herself and her friends. I still have an affinity with the tarot as a magical tool for divination and while I may not always physically use the cards, Spirit often drops cards or images, symbols and colours from the tarot into my awareness so I can pass on information, guidance and insights to clients during a reading.
From a very early age, I have had many experiences which have helped me to develop personally as a soul and spiritually, helping me to blend and connect more easily with those in Spirit to pass on evidence that the soul continues long after we leave this physical world. With formal qualifications in Behavioural Sciences and Criminology, I understand and appreciate the importance of being able to provide facts, evidence and information that confirms beyond reasonable doubt that I am connecting with your loved one in Spirit before passing on their healing messages of peace, comfort and love.
Also as an Empath, I was frequently told as a child I was "too sensitive" to everything and everyone, whether people (living or passed over), or situations, events and certain environments. I felt and knew I was different to everyone else, I was shy, sensitive to others words, emotions and physical aliments and would often go within as a way of coping and trying to understand with I was seeing, hearing, feeling and experiencing from those in the physical and Spiritual world. Many of my experiences in life and with Spirit were all part of helping me to understand how my guides communicate with me, how my intuition and abilities work as well as to stand in my strength, embrace the uniqueness of who I am and to shine my light out into the world with divine love, true compassion and empathy for others. I have learnt that my sensitivity is a gift that I am able to consciously and intentionally work with on a daily basis to provide clients with clarity, information and guidance to support them in creating the loving, joyful and abundance life that their soul needs, wants and desires.
I am blessed to have spent over 15 years working in Senior Management positions and as an Lecturer and Tutor within a University in Brisbane (Australia), where I also completed my Masters in Education and had the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world. This was where I gained many of the skills and experiences I needed to step more fully into my souls calling to work with Spirit, and remember on many occasions being able to clearly see many of my students auras as they stood in front of the whiteboard to do their presentations, helping me to learn about the different information I was able to receive through my intuition and senses from those in Spirit. It was also the perfect training ground for stepping into my work as a Platform Medium and Speaker, which I am passionate about, as I learnt how to hold the energy within a room and techniques to engage an audience while also sharing information, wisdom and insights.
I have taken many journey's so far in life, some challenging and others easy, and have learnt that life really just a continuous journey back to self, back to who we are at a soul level, back to what feels joyful and loving for us, back to love, joy and the fullness of who we are - the light and the dark, the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the beautiful and the ugly - back to our authentic selves. It is ALL part of the journey of discovery and to stay focused on what it is in life that is really important.
Why The Barefoot Medium?

Wondering what the Barefoot thing is all about ... ? I do all of my work with Spirit barefoot - I came into the world without shoes and I will go out without them, so why not? Also, like many of the indigenous cultures throughout the world, I believe our feet were designed to press against the Earth, they are our connection to Pachamama. Our feet allow us to be present in the moment and feel the energy shifts, transformations and what is about to manifest beneath them so we can respond accordingly. I have taken many adventures in this lifetime (and the ones before), some easy and some more challenging, what I have discovered is that our soul continues when we leave this world and that we are here on this Earth to experience, create and love life!
How I Got Here...
As a natural-medium most of my training is done directly with and through Spirit, however, I also gain enormous value and knowledge from attending various personal, professional and spiritual development courses, workshops and conferences.
When I first started consciously development my Mediumship and Psychic abilities, I would regularly attend a meditation and spiritual development circle hosted by my her spiritual teacher and mentor at the time, where I began practicing delivering information and guidance to others using a variety of techniques. I then stepped into hosting my own meditation, personal and spiritual development circles and have been blessed to help and support many people throughout the years to go within and connect with themselves, let go and heal what was holding them back as well as to connect with their intuition, psychic and mediumship abilities.
